Qofi connects vetted finance operators with engagements that train and evaluate frontier AI systems. Experts apply to open roles or join the gold-standard network, validate their skills through structured assessment, and are matched to campaigns where nuanced human judgment is essential.
Who can become a Qofi expert?
Practitioners with real institutional experience, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, tax, accounting, law, and adjacent domains, from early-career analysts to sector heads. Demonstrated deal-level judgment carries more weight than titles.
Is prior AI experience required?
No. The expertise is finance; Qofi provides training resources, tooling, and manager support. Most operators are fully productive within their first engagement.
How does the application process work?
A short introductory questionnaire, a review by the team, and a technical assessment, candidates receive compensation for passing it. Successful candidates onboard and can start immediately.
Why is vetting required, and how is it kept fair?
Vetting verifies expertise through structured, skill-based assessment and aligns engagements with proven subject-matter knowledge. Decisions rest on demonstrated ability, never background, location, or personal characteristics, with manager review at every stage.
What types of roles are offered?
Remote, flexible engagements across investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, tax, accounting, legal, and instruction, spanning data creation, model evaluation, and RL environment grading.
What is the time commitment?
Flexible and project-based. Most roles ask for a minimum of 15 hours per week, completed on the expert’s own schedule; hours scale up with availability.
Can experts work on multiple projects?
Yes, subject to availability and performance. Verifying additional skills broadens the range of engagements an expert is considered for.
Does passing the assessment guarantee a placement?
Assessment confirms eligibility; placement depends on project requirements and availability. Profiles remain active and are matched as new campaigns open, keeping a profile current increases the likelihood.
How are experts notified of selection?
By email, with onboarding details and next steps. Most engagements are compatible with other professional commitments.
Can a profile be updated after vetting?
Yes. New experience, updated availability, and additional verified skills can be added at any time, and improve matching.
How much do experts earn?
Rates are set per engagement and reflect seniority and domain, currently $120–300 per hour across open roles. Increases are available with tenure and added responsibility.
When and how are payments made?
Weekly, via direct deposit, based on hours worked.
What is the employment status?
Experts are engaged as independent contractors on project-based agreements. Contracts can be lengthened, shortened, or ended early depending on needs and performance.
What about confidentiality and conflicts?
Every engagement runs under NDA with strict conflict screening. The work never involves access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution, and never MNPI. It draws on judgment and method, not protected information.
What equipment is required?
A computer and a reliable internet connection. All tooling is provided through Qofi Press and Qofi Reserve.

How does Refer & Earn work?
